Baking soda

Apply a small amount of baking soda to a soft cloth and rub it in a circular motion on the screen. As the baking soda mixes with the water, it should form a paste. Once the entire screen is covered in the paste, you should rinse it with water to remove it. This should remove even the toughest grime from your shower screen.

Vinegar

You can use vinegar for much more than dressing a salad. Because it is acidic, vinegar will kill and remove bacteria and mould from your shower screen as well as dissolving dirt and grim. It is also really easy to apply and will help to deodorise your shower. You simply need to pour some vinegar into a spray bottle before spraying it onto the shower screen. Then dip a soft cloth in warm water and wipe away the vinegar. You should now be left with a perfectly clean shower screen.

Fabric softener

The grime created by soap scum is one of the most difficult things to remove from a glass shower screen. If you are struggling to remove it using other methods, fabric softener may provide a solution. Mix 1 part fabric softener with 4 parts warm water in a small bowl. Dip a non-abrasive cloth into the solution and wipe down your shower screen before rinsing it using your shower unit. This should lift and remove any soap stains from the glass.
